Just water and food-grade sodium acetate, sealed inside medical-grade PVC. The metal disc is stainless steel. TGA-compliant for therapeutic use.
Again and again. Once it cools, just boil it to reset and it’s ready to use all over again.
It warms up quickly to a soothing heat — up to around 54°C in the larger packs, though how warm it feels and how long it lasts depends on the size and the room around it. Plenty of comfort where you need it.
Bring a pot of water to the boil, then drop the pack in for 10–15 minutes (timed from when the water is boiling) until all the crystals dissolve back to clear liquid. Let it cool to room temp and it’s ready to click again.
Straight from the boiling water, wrap it in a towel and use it like a hot-water bottle. Once it cools, click the disc to activate it again for more heat — two uses from one boil. For cold therapy, lay the pack flat in the freezer and use it as a cold compress.
The disc is a strong concave aluminium button you flex back and forth. Brand-new packs sometimes need a few firm clicks to get going, so try flexing it a few times. If it still won't activate after several attempts, contact us and we'll help or arrange a replacement.
Keep boiling — submerge the pack fully and boil for 10–15 minutes until it is completely clear. If you can still see flakes, gently prod the pack to move the contents around and boil another minute or two. It doesn't matter how many times you've boiled it; boil until it's absolutely clear.
Yes. The gel is food-grade sodium acetate (essentially salt, vinegar and water), so it's completely safe — even if a child or pet were to swallow some. If it marks clothing, a warm wash will lift the stain. If a pack has leaked, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

No — these activate by flexing the metal disc, not heat. Microwaving can damage the seal. Boiling water only, to reset.
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging while sealed shut, and never use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
